Battery Relocation, any advice?

As far as the ground is concerned:
I would attach it to a ground strap much like the originals....and frame ground it...Mines grounded thru the body.... to the frame work thru the trunk....away from the fuel lines...

I wish! I'm way too nervous to cut into my hood to try and make it functional Paying someone to do it would probably be my safest option but yet it would be crazy expensive too.

However, my new box will be be fully sealed from the engine heat and easily accept a ram air system down the road, should I find a way to modify the hood.

Sounds good. I'll keep that in mind, sounds like a ground strap would be best

This is how i have it and my monte and had it in my previous car. I haven't had any problems with it and only paid like $15 for the tray and other things to hold it down.
