The one between the heated seat switches is also an option. Could even make it a small more sleek looking switch. Also the area above the hazard switch. Their is just more wiring in that area than the center console I believe.

If you do go with EL wire pros. I paid less than $40 for 35' of wire and a sound controlled inverter. And the guy who runs it is the BEST online merchant I habe ever dealt with. Had some color issues and he not only exchanged it for free but upgraded it to a more expensive size. He is also the guy who did all tronovies so he has a good record.

Is the dimmer switch off? If so you probably have a minor short that's trickling voltage across the switch. Its not detectible.in the halogens but it is in LED's beacuse they require less power. Take one of the bulbs out and turn them.completely off and measure the voltage with a mulit meter. (If you don't habe one get one at radio shack fir $30 its a great investment) if you have any voltage the switch probably needs replaced. But don't do that eight away. Let me know the results of doing the first thing.

Thanks! I actually have used them while driving. Thats why I went with EL wire. Its dim enough it doesn't distract or blind you. I even got a thimbs up from a cop. I would not however recomend this to anyone beacuse I don't know if its legal/safe everywhere.
