Default alarm in 1988

ok here is the problem i bought a car alarm installed everything works fine. It has 2 relays to operate the power door locks which i hook up and they lock and unlock with alarm. But when i try to use the switch inside the car on the door panel to lock or unlock it blows the fuse. I disconect the alarm lock wires and the door panel works fine dosent blow the fuse. any ideas what could be wrong.

thats wierd, ive never used the lock/unlock rocker on my car.

it unlocks by itself in gear, and unlock in park. i just use the fob for everything else.

and you bought the alarm in 1988 or your car is an 88'???

cause if you bought the alarm in 88 id say you got your moneys worth out of it.

im not sure, i think something may be connected wrong. but maybe the switch is just sending too high of amps to your fuse, and blowing it.
