Default Aftermarket Deck- Suggestions

Sup fellas. Well I was gonna pretty much keep my 05 ss monte stock on the inside, but it turns out my battery drain is a problem with the stereo kicking on when the car is off. So Im gonna go aftermarket. I just wanted to see if you guys would post some pics of your decks, I dont know how I want to go yet. My main dilema is single din or double din. I think I'm gonna go double, and with a touch screen deck. Also if you guys installed your own, I would like to get an idea of what I would be getting into if I did my own, and if I need a dash kit if i go double din. Even if there is a link I could go to for instructions on how to take out the old one and put it in the new one that would be perfect. Thanks guys.

This is just me, but I have only good things with my Kenwood Audio equiment. So I am 100% pro Kenwood but the options are endless, it depends on your budget and how wild you want to go...

I've had Alpine, Pioneer, Panosonic, Aiwa, Jensen, and none of them compare to a Kenwood IMO.

Well, I have always been someone that if I'm gonna do something, I do it right, and I do what I want. So just give me suggestions. And what is Kenwood IMO?? I have had several brands too, but just wanting some ideas on double din or single din, and pics would help along with info on installs.

I put in a single din deck, as I wanted to put in the custom guage cluster in along with it. Check out my cardomain site for pics of my install.
I put in a 2nd battery to eliminate the battery drain issue. A co-worker has 3 batteries.

Kenwood is the brand, IMO means "In my opinion"....

heres what it comes down to...

are you going to use navagation and mp3 player interface a lot? if thats the case, go with a double din touch screen, or, a flip screen. Id prefer flip screens, mainly to protect against theft.
