Default 98 Monte Carlo Same as Lumina

Are the Monte Carlo and Lumina headlights the same as each other

Yes it is the same headlights for both,
manufacturer part number is 20-3388-00 for left or 20-3387-00 for right.

so i can buy some aftermarket headlights for a lumina and have no problems

Are they the ebay lights?

Most likely you'll have projection problems because they suck at projecting.

No there these lights http://www.xtralights.com/lumina_1.aspx and they have them for the lumina but not the monte carlo im gettin hids so i would hope i dont have a problem

Those are the ones I'm talking about, see how smooth they are?

The lines and ridges in your current headlights help with the projection of the beam, those really aren't going to give you a good light output, but they do look good.

Plus, putting a HID kit inside something that's not a projector is illegal

i owned both the 95-99 chevy lumina and chevy monte carlo i have changed the headlights on both cars with aftermarket hedlights i never had any issues but i got them from Certi Fit in New Orleans what state are you in?

it must vary from State to State because in New Orleans almost everyone has H.I.Ds
