Default 4th Gen Camaro Rear Seats in 5th Gen MC

Hey ya'll, came across this idea roaming through the junkyard one day. Don't know if anyone else has done it but it's something different along with cheap and simple. Next up is filling in the sides and putting in a center console.

Tools Needed:
--3/8 ratchet
--13mm socket

Steps:
1) Locate two bolts on the seat (one on each side)
2) Use the 13mm socket to remove these bolts
3) Pull seat up and make sure to push seatbelt stuff through the seat first
4) Place Camaro seats in and replace bolts

They don't look bad at all. Once you fill in the gaps it should look good and be different. What are you going to put on the sides of each seat.

Thanks man, yeah I wanted something different for the rear seat. What I plan on doing is keeping the original bench seat but find another at the junkyard and cut the ends off of that and trim it to make it fit. After that I'll figure something out for a center console.

I know there was a person on here that did buckets in the back and had a center console from a car but I can't remember what it was from. His name was zipper I am pretty sure.

Nice I'll have to find him and see how he did it. If I can't find one from another vehicle that fits in there I'll have to build something.

1988-1994 Olds Cutlass Supremes and Pontiac Grand Prixes used to come with rear bucket seats. They're pretty hard to find now at a junkyard, but if you do manage to find one, you can easily get the center console and backrest from them.

Awesome, thanks man. Yeah might be difficult to find but I have plenty of junkyards that I can search. Definitely gonna keep an eye out for them.

Sorry that I didn't reply yet to your question. I was going to but my kids distracted me and then I forgot about it. Yes, my seats are the same as those pictured (except mine are black). Pretty much no modification needed. They swap in nicely and look like they belong in our Montes. More people compliment those seats over my Monte's engine, lol.

No worries man, I understand. At this point in time I'm in no hurry to finnish the backseat; just looking for ideas that might work and look good. Everyone's help and input is greatly appreciated. Lol thats saying something having a procharger on there, but then again they do look good. They look really comfy too.
