does anyone know where i can buy these foglights ive found sets on ebay but none look like these with the chrome ring around them

Those are how they come from the factory. My parent's 06 SS also has the chrome trim.

 

those look like the stock fog lights to me. hard to tell tho with the pic being kinda unclear. if you want the stockers they won't come cheap unless you run across a pair on ebay or a junk yard. you could buy them from the dealer but you'll pay an arm and a leg ~$300 i was quoted a while back for the lights, wiring, and switch.

i got the autotopia halo fog lights from ebay. they look good but the mounting system they send with them don't even come close to fitting our montes, even though they say it will. i asked them twice before i bought them and they insisted they did, but they didn't!! i ended up making my own brackets out of some 16 gauge stainless sheet we had laying around at work. they seem to have a good light, but their service is horrible.

 

with my moty i have all of the wires exept for the fog lights and the sewitch the 06-07 should have all the wires exept for the switch and the fog lights. that is how mine is set up i am looking for the switchevery where is looking at me like i am stupid for looking for a switch on a car that didnt come with the, what is the part # for the for switch

 

I have 2 fog light switches, I got tired of them not being on with the highs so I used my own, just draw the power from the parking lights and put a descrete switch under the dash, and dont light it up. No one will even notice.

on the 06-07s, when the high beams are switched on they come on in addition to the low beams so both are on at the same time. i just used a fuse tap and tapped into the low beam fuse so when the lows are on, the fog lights are on. works great.
