Default ZZP Stage 1 Throttle Body

Has anyone put on the ZZP Stage 1 Throttle Body? Stock is 69mm, this is bored to 72mm. Would I notice much of a gain? Is this worth 200 bones?

Depends on what you are going to do to the car. You will notice a nice improvement with the stage 1 TB, but if you decide to really start modding, the money is best saved for a N*.

You can also get used ones on clubgp.com or you can buy one and upgrade to a N* later.

In fact here isa great deal on one and I would pick it up quick if I were you

http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.as...=1&smode=1

ZZP Stage 1 99+ Ported TB with all sensors
$140 Shipped

I have a MAF screen too if you want it (not pictured). I went to a N*, so no longer need this.

TB Spacer (no gaskets)

If you want them both, $145 for the combo.

I want these things gone!

I have the 72mm throttle body and spacer and 3.4 pulley and stage 1 ecm and and and and. Hard to tell if it BY ITSELF makes a difference. As a package, yes it's a MUST DO! Either that or go bigger, to the Northstar TB, as Keagan did. I started with this easy changeover, but intend to go bigger in the future. No regrets on the change, and only took a few minutes.
I feel that a smooth intake tube is a must also, as the K&N has. I believe the Wizaired unit is a better box, but the K&N is the only one using the smooth tube.
Next mod for me will be either headers or the ZZP power log manifolds.

Actually the Wizaired is a smooth tube as it is just a piece of PVC pipe that the air filter clamps onto and connects to the throttlebody. You can see the white pipe in the pick. The corrogated metal that goes around it is a heat shield.

the N* kit from ZZP only runs 289.99... for a 75MM, and the sensitivity of the pedal, as well as the ability to get a few HP out of it, is worth it... going bigger contributes to the final picture, which is an engine that can breath really well....

Alright I'm looking at TB's on clubgp and not sure what all I need for the install. Also should I be looking for a stage 1, LS1, or N* throttle body? Also some say they come with all sensors, adapter plate, tb spacer, gaskets.... Do I need an adapter plate? So basically what all do I need to put on a new throttle body?

ZZP's kit for the Northstar includes EVERYTHING you need to install.

But if you decide to do it yourself, you'll need an adaptor plate to go from the northstar to the TB spacer, as well as a gasket to go from the spacer to your supercharger. and then you'll need a tps adaptor, as well as a new MAF sensor, as the Northstar does not have a MAF with it, it comes as an additional unit.

Here's ZZP's kit, you can base what you'll need off of that.

Hope that helps.

N* sounds like a PITA. I'll just go for a stage 1 then. With a stage 1 I shouldn't need an adapter plate or new maf right?

Correct Sir. Should just be plug and play.
