If you'd post it in the for sale section, i'd be gone quick. Try it and see.

I'm selling my MotorSports CAI - it's in the F/S section.

Zoomer TRIES to make everything in house. If he can make it and sell it for the same price, he's going to do it. You'd be surprised at the amount of stuff they manufacture there in house, or local.

I am just wondering if I would even see that much better performance with the ZZP CAI than my K&N. Hmmmmm

Yes. The K&N has a heat shield that is a joke. I've been thinking about replacing mine but I love the way it looks over anything else.

I like the look also. I don't like the idea of a metal box under my hood, but for WAY better performance I would do it. Would the gain from the ZZP or other be that great in comparison to out K&N setup?

like said, the heat shield is better with the zzp, giving you more time with cold air giving you more time with more hp, whether it is noticeable, im not sure if any of us know except for awesomess because shes used just about all of them

Default cai

.....Well I think I'm about ready to order the ZZP CAI.
However I have been looking at the SLP unit but from what I can
tell it doesn't receive that much air or does it ?
I like the looks of the "Thrasher "( not made ?) and the "Cold
Air Induction" brand .
But ZZP has the lead right now...............?

The SLP has two slots that draw from the fender, no air from the front. The slots are appox 1.5-2 inches by 6-8 inches each ??? Rough guesstimate from October install. Certainly doesn't get as much air but at a savings of, IIRC, $170. I'm happy with it. I am thinking CAI for the Impala and even if SLP offered one for it I would still probably get a different one. I do kind of like the "factory look" of the SLP.
