Default Will rain hit my air intake and CPU?

Hi guys im new to this forum and have a question. i got a 2002 Monte Carlo SS and I just installed a new intake. I'm afraid that water is going to get into it when its raining and such. I haven't tried it but id like to be sure before i do that it wont. Their is a gap under the headlight because the bumper isnt really aligned properly. Also im worried that the underside of the car will shoot up water and hit the CPU and filter. Did anyone have an issue with this before? how would i be able to fix it if water does get through? Can someone help please? Im especially concerned about the cpu its not covered like it used to be. Also the metal that is showing where the plastic for the stock intake is showing and water might be able to sit on top of that also and make it rust even more than it has. Thanks for the answers Postimage.org / gallery - 20150723 154441[1], 20150723 154450[1], 20150723 154459[1], 20150723 154508[1] ---Pics, the cpu is under the intake

Engine bay components are generally designed to be all weather compatible. As long as your hood is shut and you're not driving through deep standing water you should be fine. Some people have their intakes in their inner fender well and i've never heard of any issues.
