Default Where can I buy LS7 headers

Hey everyone, so I'm looking at swapping out my trans with a TEP trans. And then I'm going to start doing some mods like swapping out the LS4 intake with an LS2 instake, same with fuel rails, LS4 intake with LS7 hydro formed headers, as well as a few other things to help the car breath a lot better. I can find everything except the LS7 headers. Does anyone know where I can buy these or about what they run? I'm kind of comparing the Doug Thorleys to these as far as price goes and I will go with either or. I like the Look of the LS7 headers more and I haven't seen but a couple people use them. Which will make my car that much more unique which I'm always down for. Thanks for any help guys

ls7 headers will require some modification. Best bet is ls1tech or ebay if you are willing to take the chance. personally i wouldnt...I would just get the thorleys and then you are guaranteed a direct fit.

Yea, I knew they needed some modifications. Most of the things will that I plan to do. I have all the tools to do it. It is more so just down to price at this point lol.

I may get them. They are a good price and it would be nice to just bolt them up rather then having to do a lot of fab work on the LS7's. Even if they aren't quite at the DT level, they can't be any worse then the stock ones.

the only complaint is the collector so far on the OBX ones.....you could modify that easy enough and stay in budget. It's worth a shot. I think I might save headers for when I do plugs or something else major and the install should me much easier and could kill tow birds with one stone

Yea, I'm kind of holding off on everything for now until I get my TEP transmission. Once I get that then I will be looking at doing Headers, Intake, swapping the LS4 intake and fuil rails with the LS2 intake and fuil rails. And then where I'm stuck is, do I just have DOD tuned out. Or do I go in and replace everything that is needed to run DOD and get rid of it that way. And then I can start looking at larger cams and things like that. Because I want a cam and with DOD regardless of if it is tuned out or not, about the only cam you can get for the 7th gen is a G8 Cam which is larger but still works with DOD components. That's pretty much what I'm stuck on as of now.

Yea I would love to get the TEP transmission but I will have to wait awhile. Car spending is going to drop off for awhile. I just paid mine off a couple weeks ago and sent in a bulk payment then decided to reward myself with some rims so I am done for the winter until I find a house.

Honestly DOD is garbage. I tuned mine out and couldn't be happier. I would plan to have it tuned out or taken out completely if you go with all you plan.
