where to buy intake pipes

Default where to buy intake pipes

does anyone know where to buy metal intake pipes>> im not looking for any kits just the pipes.
And that bull they sell at autozone is not metal, i made the mistake of buying some of that garbage.

havr that "garbage" (spectre i am assuming your talking about)my sl2 seems to be working great for me but back to metal i've heard of people using Stainless exhaust pipe, i,m sure if you search for

Try and find the spectre stuff- do you have a pepboys near you? Thats where I got the polished metal intake tube for my monte.

Yep I got mine from Spectre too. Spectre has couplers and filters too, along with pretty much any other intake piece you'd need. Try to find it locally because paying $5-10 shipping for something that's $15 is annoying. Can't remember where I found the best price online, might have been Amazon actually.

everyone is saying they got the specter pipes??? maybe its different around here, i got some pipes from them and it was that plastic-like insulation not metal.
did you guys get metal ones???

Yeah I got a metal one from them. Got to their website (spectreperformance.com) and find the part number for the tube(s) you want, and then search for those. I did just a quick search and streetsideauto.com has good prices if you want to order online.

i stand corrected, i bought some pipes and such and all that **** was plastic. alright thanks guys.

I think they carry different styles, but if you go to:

www.spectreperformance.com- you can click on catalog, then modular components- you'll see what they have.

The ones that say "chrome" are the ones that are the chrome looking plastic

The ones that say "aluminum" are actual polished metal- thats what I got.

Maybe your autozone can order them if they have access to some of the product line already.
