I recently bought my second '06 Monte Carlo SS, but it doesn't have the same rumble and loudness as my first one, they are both supposedly factory exhaust. I looked at each muffler, resonator, and catalytic converters but they all look the same. What do you think might be the cause of it?
Also while looking at the muffler I saw how little room it gave from the curve in the pipe to the start of the muffler. Since I don't really trust my self welding a muffler on... I wanted to clamp it on. The only problem is there is only 1-2" of room and I don't think a clamp will fit on. Is it possible to clamp on another muffler instead of welding, with the 06?
