So i got my intake from an eBay seller INTSYSUSA or something like that, it came with a small miniature filter that im not sure what it would go to or if i even have the part on my 3.5 that it would go on to.

I have the rest of the intake hooked up no problem, though i would love to get my hands on a decent air box similar to the one on coldairinductions.com
i have asked them and they refused to sell the box with out the rest of the unit...

 

Do you have any pics? It's hard to know for sure without seeing what you received.

There's a member here with the 3.5 and a CAI on it with the baby filter hanging on a very small pipe to the left of the CAI box

i have nothing like that any where neer my intake or on my 3.5 7th gen what the heck is that is it a face hugger from aliens monte carlo 3831. what is that thing i think i am going to have really bad dreams from now on. no really what is that with the baby filter i am sereus what is it?? i never seen that on my 3500 v6 i dont want it even neer it no what so ever

 

oh wait it is for the air pump for the smog controlls for the cali cars it needs to have more aire in the cat to burn off more fuel. i am sorry but it does look like a face hugger from aliens

 

YES monte carlo 3831 thats the piece im talikng about, so what is it exactly????? Something for a part on CA cars only? Im in New York so i wouldnt have any use for this thing?
