I'm still debating wheather or not to install a CAI kit. What do any of you
know about " THRASHER " CAI kits ?
Pros & Cons about it.
It seems a bit pricey but sounds like a quality system.

I like the wizair better- Thrasher is a super old 3800 company- made some pretty good quality stuff, at way high prices- and then fell off the face of the earth years ago and stopped doing anything in the 3800 market. Never could figure that out- they already had a good name going for them.

they look pretty nice and are enclosed. just thought I'd throw that out there for you to consider......

 

they selling their products on ebay last time i ordered from them. as a matter of fact 3.4 press on pulley and cai were the first 2 thing i bought from them when i started modding. as far as their cai...i wouldn't buy it. here's why the box is not insulated like wizaired and the opening end by the fender does not have a rubber seal either to keep hot air out. the wizaired would be a better buy.

 

I think the went out of business. I tried to purchase their CAI from ebay and they never shipped my item or responded to my emails. I got my money back by filing a complaint through ebay.

 

I could've swore someone on clubgp said they sold their shop- so if their stuff is on ebay, maybe they're just selling leftovers from their house?

 

I just sold My 02 SS .. I pulled the Thrasher CAI before selling

the thrasher will work on the 3400 with some modding too wont it? tube modding that is...

and i would go with the wizaired, its a pretty good setup

Most likely yes, when I tried to order mine it said they had 3 left for the 3800.
