Ok I believe I've made my mind up I will be getting a custom set. Just have too check around for a good shop. I appreciate your feedback.

Seeing that you are from Chicago i assume from the bears pic, there is a guy in joliet who has a mandrel bender. He is one of my customers and does excellent work. I would go that route. Let me know if you want the info.

 

i would go with a shop that has a mandrel bender because if you have a one muffler going to two it will have better flow because they will set it up for max flow. not just that they will be able to fix any thing on the way to completion if there is any kinks as in if it needed anouther bend or some thing like that

 

A good price for a mandrel bent pipes and a quality mufflers(duals) should be in the neighbor hood of $300.00.....plus Tips..

The main goal is to acheive optimum flow....like ev1 else said most muffler choices is about tone....(sound)
