wow they were alot smaller. its good though cant see them from behind, made the car sound like it should, and cut a little weight.

GRRRRR.

Didn't know you had a V8 lol, I was so happy when I thought someone picked almost the same set up I was going to do on my V6.

Sounds pretty sweet though.

Yeah, it definitely woke up the LS4!

Thanks. Yeah, all the 06-07 SS Monte's have the 5.3L Small Block V8 LS4.

great bang for your buck rick! the car looks great. inlet/outlet size are your tips? also what brand are they and where did you buy them? might think about a similar setup for my monte...we'll see! thanks again.

Lol thanks for the info.

I'm still a bit of a W-body nub, I thought they all came with a SII or SIII V6 lol...then I heard yours and was like...ohhhhhhhhh.


I might still be doing a similar set up if I don't get my hands on a good used Electric Cut-out, having trouble finding one.
Might be a comparison thread

Yeah, I've heard some that tend to get out really really raspy, but then I've also heard the opposite.

It'll be post-cat, which will be a Magnaflow, I've had really good luck with those hiding the rasp on my last car which was a 3800 with a Flowmaster, lol.

Electric so I can just open it halfway, probably wouldn't rasp that much.

Headers would definitely help too.
