Default Side exhaust

Well If i have enough left this winter Im planning to do a complete custom exhaust. Ill do a 3 inch down pipe, muffler, and have dual 2 inch outputs on it. The y them out to come in front of the rear tire like in the pic. If its closer to the gas tank, could i just put some heat insulation there so I dont have to worry about the heat issue?

This topic was brought up a while back and there are tips like that made from a racing replica kit on the internet, but the tips from them are really expensive, I would talk with a small performance muffler shop and they can custom fab you the piping and could find tips similar to those in your picture to make side exhaust work.

I should ask my muffler shop about this idea to see if I could make it work on mine, the only problem is my bumper has the exhuast cut outs.

By the way you could ave the side skirts notched out, ask a muffler shop about the heat issue.

Yea Ill go to a shop and find out some opinions! And I have the 2 dips in my back bumper for exhaust but the notches you could have filled in if you ever went with the body kit your looking at. And im going with rectangle tips, and mabye Ill notch into the skirts, all depends yet.

Lol Mavrick seeing how you need a bumper with no exhaust cut outs and I do want one, we could trade I want your bumper for my dual exhaust and you could use mine
