Is it just me or does it seem that half of your tips look slanted or slightly offset?

If you don't take the hours it takes to do the alignments.

It's not just the aftermarket systems that have that problem. When I went to put my first set of tips on the stock exhaust pipes, I had a hell of a time trying to get them even with each other. You'd think that all you have to do is have the logo on each tip facing up, and then worry about how far back to push them onto the pipe, but nooooooooo.... it wasn't as simple as that. I didn't like the way they looked, so ended up going down to a muffler shop to have them weld on these clamp on tips. Even the muffler shop had a hard time getting them even. They said that the stock tailpipes weren't quite symmetrical with each other. They hammered at the pipe trying to get them even, but they were never quite perfect.

I've noticed that my new tips aren't perfectly aligned, either. You don't notice it so much until you look at them standing at either back corner of the car.
