For sale qtp custom downpipe
I have a custom made QTP Downpipe i had on my 2003 MONTE SS. It was awesome while i had it on my car for only about 500 miles. I had to bring the car in for service at the dealership and they wouldnt service the vehicle with the cut out in so i took it off and put on a stock replacement downpipe. Now i dont want to put it back in to save money on installation fees. I am located in Las Vegas. Here is a link to craigslist where it is posted.

Unless you have dyno proof that when you opened the cutout you got 30 HP, I would NEVER believe that, unless in front of that restrictive downpipe (since there's still the U-bend and horrible stock cat, which why didn't they remove AT LEAST the U-Bend in this custom made pipe?) you had an L67 with a good amount of mods, and the Downpipe was restricting a good amount.
I dont have dyno proof and i was understating the car became an animal after the cutout was open. There is a huge noticeable difference while driving. From screeching the tires at a light(stock) to smoking them through the intersection(open cutout). I never go to race it so i dont know if the track times were greatly improved. It makes the car sound amazing for a v6 and it can be closed to go back to a stock feel. The reason th pipe was unchanged is because the only difference is the y pipe. The downpipe is supposed to be stock with original cat and u-bend. This way someone who wants to keep their car stock to the bone can add some flair to their stock set up.
Sorry, but it's not 30 HP from the cutout.
Great product though if someone is looking for a cut-out, I won't deny that. This looks like a pretty decent and easy to bolt in option for those that don't want to deal with putting in their own cutout.
To say how much power it adds is going a little far though. For starters if it was that easy to gain that much HP then people would run 1/4 miles with open headers. Not only that, but by killing all your exhaust you are really destroying your down low torque for an L36... and really that's all that the L36 has going for it.
I have a very decently modified L36 and I can't smoke the tires through an intersection without having the e-brake on and traction off. Screeching is a piece of cake.
