RE: prosound muffler?
i will tell you i cna see where my car would be VERY annoying.. i actually have a set of ear muffs incase somebody can't stand it sometime, lol (no really, i do have ear muffs in my car)
but me, i grew up with6 summers in an 18 wheeler... bring on the loud. |
RE: prosound muffler?
haha that sounds very loud. the only way I would ever do that would be with electronic cutouts...
anyways, as of now im leaning towards taking the resonator out, seems like the majority of people who do exhaust on montes do that |
RE: prosound muffler?
i'd just leave it and see how you like it, have the guy let it off the lift, fire it up and rev it for you, if you still want louder, have him raise it back up and cut her out :) pop a glasspack in it's place and don't put any mufflers on the rear =D

RE: prosound muffler?
Well got the exhaust done today. Ended up going with a single flowmaster 40 series and kept the resonator in place. I really like the way it sounds especially right around 2000rpm when accelerating. I may end up getting the resonator taken off at a later time but for now I like this setup.

RE: prosound muffler?
I would go with a performance resonator to replace the stock resonator. I wouldnt cut it out. You wouldnt like the drone it causes. I have mine out and sometimes I get annoyed by the drone.
