thanks for the input. i never seen a monte with those style mufflers so i figure i would try it and do sumthing diff. but i just put a cai on my car i didfeel a diff. instantly. just came from the store and this dude in a silver monte on 22s asked to buy my car. then he pulled out wit me at the light and i smoked his ***. made me feel good. now i wanna go all out on performance. think my next move is headers and a pcm

nice word i had to use the dictionary to understand what you meant. but i figure sumbody wouldnt agree. but i like the fact i am doin sumthing different and not jumpin on the bandwagon of flows, mags, even though i like the way the sound on the car. i justwanted a new look and sound. never kno mayb ill post a video and you will be suprised on how it sounds. cant knock sumthin till you try it.

I don't think those things will muffle crap with the silencers out. I made my exhaust louder and hate it. I'll be fixing it in the spring. Its hard to find nice quiet 3" inlet mufflers that will fit...

Those look like they are going to be just raspy as anything. You NEED to keep the resonator for those to keep the interior drone from driving you crazy.
Your shorter CAI is also functioning as a HAI which is very bad. You might want to get some extension for it and get it away from the engine bay and shield it off. Doing more harm than good.
