I do believe I have the same mufflers that you used to have. I remember reading somewhere you installed them and liked them. How long did they last?

I have had horrid experiences with header paint. What's the secret???

 

I had the old mufflers on the car for 3 years so they actually lasted a decent amount of time for as cheap as they were. They were like 25 bucks with free shipping so I think I got my moneys worth.

Just cant bring myself to spend 70-80 bucks a piece for mufflers for the name brand stuff when you can get similar stuff for WAY cheaper.


The best you can do with header paint is bake in on in cycles. Idle the car for a few minutes then let it cool down. Then idle the car for a little longer then let it cool down. Then take the car for a nice long drive then park it over night. Other than that you are at the mercy of the quality of the paint. I didnt bake mine on the mufflers since they wont take as much abuse from the heat as headers will.
