New Monte Owner

Just bought a '96 LS...looking for suggestions on what to use to boost h.p. -as in who's used what? Car is pretty bare bones, but is in good shape. Strong 3.8L.

welcome! is it a 3.4 or a 3.8? I didn't think the 3.8 was available in a 96 monte. only the 3.4 DOHC.

If you have a 96 LS than you have a 3100, not a 3800. The 3800 was never available in the LS models and it wasn't available in the Z34 until 98. If you want to make some good hp, do an L67 swap.
