Sounds good, what did you do for the exhaust?

Thank you sir it's a magnaflow downpipe, U-bend delete, resonator delete, and no muffler. So, I guess you can say it's a straight pipe.

Iv heard of the "rasp" coming from the v6's but if your 3400 is straight piped and sounds like that I should be able to take out my res with my borla mufflers and keep a good sound.

They do, only in the higher RPM's near red line. Well, if you have the 3.8L if might sound differently, but should sound roughly the same if not deeper.

I had the downpipe, u bend delete, resonator delete with a flowmaster muffler, and it sounded nice. But pretty raspy higher up in the RPM band. I took the muffler off and that's how it sounds now.

the 3100's and 3400's are actually pretty good sounding engines. I have a flowmaster 40 series delta flow on my 5th gen and it sounds good. 3800's are known for raspiness and don't sound that good. Got no mufflers and a glasspack in place of the resonator on there.

Well dang, your video is actually one I found on you tube and I really loved the sound of your exhuast, I just can't justify taking a couple hundered in mufflers out of my exhuast system just yet.

Well thanks man I really appreciate that. Haha, I was nervous about it too. The way I did it was that If I ever wanted to put my muffler back on, I can. 45 minutes and it's back to how it was. So, if anything it's a $15 fix if you don't have the tools already.
