So I have been looking into upgrading the Exhaust on my 2006 Monte Carlo SS and right now I am down to a Magnaflow Catback or an SLP Loudmouth 2 exhaust. Right now my SS sounds pretty good. I just want a little more sound with a Deeper throaty sound without being to obnoxiously loud. Anyone have any experience with either of these or exhausts in general? and by chance do you know how much it would be to have something like this installed? Thanks in advance

I've heard good things from actually just removing the mufflers on the LS4. Try to do a little video searching and see if that's just a sound you want.

Any time you upgrade the exhaust, when DOD kicks in, it will sound bad. Just be warned of that

I really like Corsa, and Borla. I hear Magnaflow is overrated. I was also told to go glassback, if I remember correctly, or just straight pipe, like Chibiblacksheep just suggested.

I did a res+cat delete with Thrush turbo mufflers, and I got my exhaust replaced with 3". I'm having a pypes hiflow install but won't have a video until the end of the month.

Here's my car on Dyno, it was so loud the sound is a little blown out. The Thrush mufflers keep it quiet on Idle and super loud when you're pushing it... Kind of like a stock car:

I would recomend the best of both worlds and it is cheap. Get a cut out installed as close to the cat as possible. When you want it loud there you go and when you need it quiet just close it. Thats worked good for me and my friends who all use cut outs

If you're looking to save money I have to agree with Yellowjacket. Get an electric cut out just shut it on and off in your car and you'll be all set
