Default need a new exhaust

I have a 2000 Monte carol LS and I have a leek coming out of the cat. Well since I found out that a new stock setup would be 950 without install. I figured I知 better off doing aftermarket system but I知 not sure what to get and I知 would like to do a full system from headers down.

are you looking for a stock sound? or something deep? just give us some details, so we can get an understanding of what sound your looking for so we can try to match it up with a brand and muffler, and you want to do dual now too? how about a ubend delete and high flow cat? or maybe a downpipe?

Well, since you got the leak coming from the cat, your'e in luck. All you really need to do is install a downpipe, and that will give you some pretty good gains in addition to fixing the problem

That is the link for it. You have a few different options for it also.
Then, if you're looking to get some more sound, you could get some muffler shop to weld in a new muffler or even a y-pipe and 2 mufflers. Just look on youtube for somthing you like the sound of.
But, all you really need is the downpipe. I had my whole exhaust piping upgraded just to find out I didnt need to.

Click any of the cars at their home page then at the top right there is a search box, type in "3400" then it will take you to the options page which only has "downpipes for 3400's" click that and it will take you to the page to pick your options and such. If youdont have emmisions tests, I would get the offroad downpipe, for sure get the front and rear gaskets, welded in flanges.

try that one. I would also get the stainless option so you know it will last long. that other crap is for if you dont use your car as a daily driver.
OK, I tryed that link and it works now.

just make sure you get the one for the 3400 and it has a cat, you would probably want the gaskets unless you want to just weld in, and go with the rest of the exhaust back.

Yes, this will bolt up directly to your stock cat-back so any aftermarket cat-back that bolts up to your stock downpipe would work.

(may I recommend the GMPP Cat-Back that I have a post in the group buy section)

Hit up ZZP for a new pcm 1.0. They take care of all that stuff with the cat. Good deal too.
