Looks good so far. Just out of curiosity, how much better does the Cold Air Inductions system work, than the K&N system?

thanks Taz. I cant speak from experience yet but the K&N has no box to keep it from the hot engine air..just a pointless heat shield. The Cold Air Induction CAI gets all of it's air from behind the headlight and has insulation in the box to keep it from getting really hot.

With my K&N i was sucking in 120-130 degree air in 80-90 degree weather so we will see how the other one does once i get it on

do you think just standard automotive paint would work fine on the aluminum? i cant wait to see how it looks in your engine bay!

well here are the updated pics. I drove it around for 30 min or so and didnt see the Intake temp go over 75 degrees with 60 degree temps outside. I think that is pretty good. The install was a complete Bitch since i didnt take off my throttle body spacer. It didnt want to line up perfect. but i got it

is it running OK, do you hear/feel a difference with it? From what you have said the temps have gone down? It looks great by the way....
