i've always like how flow masters sound. my v8 s10 has super 40's on it and my blazer with get a 50 series delta flow soon. i think chambered mufflers sound 1000 times better then glass packs. just my $0.02 tho

That's definitely in my plans.... However, Its currently in the shop having some work done to it... Its having some "secret" work done to it that I will reveal in the spring...
Then I plan on doing an exhaust video of it...

 

What are the cheaper options to mufflers? Im readding mine back to my 07, I cant stand straight pipe any longer lol. This guy said 200 for soundmasters, but Im not interested in any knock off, I just need to get rid of the drone from swapping back and fourth with dod until I can tune it out lol. Waste of money ._________.;;

ok so i got ma downpipe today and i got ma plog also waiting both from zzp. now i need to order the 02 emulator. i also got a quote to replace the downpipe and res delete from this shop i always take my car too. they quoted me $72 to do the dp, then another $72 to delete and install the pipe. i also would have to pay for the pipe. does this sound like a good price?

i also got a quote to change the sway bar which was $144. i might need to research this im wondering how hard it is to do though

 

Those sound like fair prices. The amount of rust that these bolts are probably going to have, they will have a headache. If you can set a price like that, I would go for it haha

 

So the cheaper route I took yesterday was adding two glass packs as mufflers. No res, two glass packs, quieted down the straight pipe by alot, but it adds alot of rumble while idleing but its still very quiet. with straight pipe I could hear it start from inside the house and shake the house, now I can hear it start but just barely. And I can expect it to get quieter.

 

question has anybody had experience with the o2 emulator?

 

I just went with the code delete. Some members have use the spark plug defouler trick with success.

I bought a couple of the 02 Emulators from ZZP to use, but never needed to as my build ended up passing emissions testing here in Utah. So with that being said I can't offer you any information about their use, but if you do choose to go that route I have 1 brand new in the package and will sell it to you for $22 with shipping included. ZZP's web site says they are out of stock with theirs and they want about $50 for one plus shipping. if you don't want this no sweat just offered it up is all.

Your PLOG and down pipe are looking extra sharp there my friend, nice mods to get on. Go to 2.5" exhaust and a CAI and she should be breathing and exhaling real well. Now stop it with the shiny metal, people on the forum are attracted to it like a fishing lure.
