Default muffler choice

hello i know this is a beatin thread but after reading most of them i'm still stuck on flow master pipes or magna flow. i've been on youtube and heard some pretty mean exhaust set ups but they never say what they did to their car to make it sound like it. i mean it sounds like some sort of race car or some ****... anyway i got a supercharged 04 with an aggressive cam and all the other goodies as well. so which one???

magnaflow lol can never go wrong with them. do a cat back system but have your muffler shop put on 304ss not certified by magnaflow pipe it will save you like $400.

maganflow catback for my 01 directly from magnaflow was gonna be close to $800.

the price i will be paying will be right around $250-275 with the 304ss pipe not certified by magnaflow its the same pipe as what the magnaflow system would be just doesnt have there name stamped on it.

What SLP exhaust is it? Mine is plenty loud. I also have headers, No cat, no resonator, PowerFlo mufflers.

SLP Exhaust System for Monte Carlo SS: 3800 Performance

^^^That's exactly what I have and it's plenty loud IMO. If it were any louder it would be all rasp, which isn't my thing but to each their own.

If your going for loud cut it off after the downpipe, from my experience that's the only way to get true LOUD, I've done it a few times and it's insanely loud. Probably not legal in most areas.

I have a 40 series deltaflow Flowmaster, 3" exhaust all the way out the back (it is a single exhaust though), and I love the way mine sounds.
