Yesterday i had posted some questions about CAI's. Anyways, after reading im thinking about building my own. I was wondering though... if i were to build my own do i have to use a cherp or tuner to make it work correctly? Plz help, thnk

 

i built mine with the intake tube from a ford escape LOL

they are bent perfectly for the monte carlos and you cna make it go straight in to the fender behind the head light. then ya put a cone filter on to it and build abracket and go on your mary way LOL

just have to fashion up a bracket of some sort for the computer witch is not to hard to do at all.

also you can go to a auto parts store and ge tthe universal fit stuff and build one for your car and put the cone on it etc..

 

a tuner would help you get the most out of it for sure.
