ive got the 3800 sc in the gtp and my biggest killer, even with the cone in the fender about a foot, is the coolant that flows into the throttle body.
i cant wait till i get the time to bolt the intercooler on and block off the passage.
im gonna use phenolic on the bottom of the intercooler to help prevent it from getting heat soaked as well, and groove it so as to let coolant still flow to the rear head.
hoping ill be able to drop another pulley size or more.

if the header wrap gets wet, which is possible depending on how much you drive it and your climate, it will hold moisture and rust out your crossover pipe. buy DEI silicone header wrap sealer spray for $10 at the parts store. it's specially made for these applications.
