Looks good. I was gonna get the parts when I was at Menards the other day but I don't have a filter to use yet so I'm gonna wait. What did you use for the pipe Mike?

Hey, I'm new here and was told my 07 MC SS was one of 1,200 produced for the final model. Is there anyway I can find out which number my MC was on the assembly line? I tried to add a new post but couldn't figure out how. I know, I'm a dunce.

I was wondering the same thing. What did you use for the pipe? I want to do this, but I haven't been able to find the right materials.

@rebelcowgirl87 read here it may help LINK: Monte Carlo Forum - Monte Carlo Enthusiast Forums - FAQ: Board FAQ and more specifically here LINK:Monte Carlo Forum - Monte Carlo Enthusiast Forums - FAQ: General Forum Usage
Also there were 10899 or so produced in 07. Yours may be one of a specific color combo or something like that. You can input your vin number at compnine.com to get some of the build specifics but I dont think you can tell what number it was in the build. Also welcome to the site. Now back to the CAI topic

Will the pipe get hot and then heat the air as it goes through?

That makes sense. I was just curious as to how one would guard against that.
