Louder Car

Louder Car
I have a 2000 SS and I want to make it louder. I've found this video on YouTube:
(It's the first video if you just type in 2007 Monte Carlo Very Loud)
I love the sound of that. The guy does list all of what he has/did on it but I'm a girl and don't know much about what this stuff is. If anyone could explain to me what all he did or if anyone has any other ideas on how to make my car sound louder, I'd very much appreciate it! Thank you!

That's an 07 with the LS4, so getting your car to sound like that and consistently through the RPMs won't be possible.
Some things you can do is go with an intake, the intake will be pretty loud. You can also look into mufflers, to keep the rasp level down, I would look into Magnaflow.
You could also look into headers if you're looking for noise and power
There's been a lot of exhaust threads on here, so you could look around at those to find some information, also, clubgp.com is another good site to look because most of those Grand Prixs also have 3800's

Yeah, I've been looking at some of the other threads on here and a lot of people say either MagnaFlow or FlowMaster is the way to go, I just don't know which one would be louder. Also, aren't headers kind of a pain to put on? Haha..I only know so much about cars now..and what exactly is an intake? lol

Heres a few links on intakes
1998 - 2004 3.8L Monte Carlo Intake System (Black Powder Coated)
Easy Performance - Wizaired Cold Air Induction System #EP-CAI

I mean if it's fairly simple I can always look up how to do it and maybe have my dad help me because it would be cool to say I did it myself haha..but out of the two intake links you sent me, which one would be better do you think?

The downpipe is easy install & pretty straight forward & if u dont wanna spend that much money you can have the pipe cut out between tge cat & the flange & have a straight one welded in & as far as intakes id go with the first one from Cold Air Inductions & its always good to do things yourself

Well the down pipe & just having a straight pipe put in do the same just a big price difference & well both intakes are about the same just the Cold Air Inductions looks a lil nicer lol i dont own either i made my own lol cant justify spending the money untill im done with my GTO
