i dont know about how often you will have to clean the maf, i haven't done mine yet, it doesn't run any different though, just a check engine light on, but that may not even be the problem, i'm just being told to clean it with brake kleen and that should fix the problem. cuz its been on since i put the intake on, and he said its just the oil on it, he kleens them off all the time from that...so i'm gonna try that and i will let you know what happens

 

I have to say I'm lucky on that aspect. I haven't needed to clean any sensors yet and the car just gets better and better.... except for that damn pcm.

 

i have a 3.9. can that air charger be used with my car?

 

Good question. I know they use the same standard K&N filter.

 

I'm not sure if it will work or not. I got the aircharger today and the only application that is listed is for the 06/07 Monte Carlo/Impala SS 5.3L V8.
I googled for one that would work for your car and found a page that lists the available Monte Carlo K and N Air Filters/Chargers andOil Filters from 1970 to 2007.

With our cars being so new yet, there seems to bevery fewaftermarket parts for them yet. But I'm sure that we'll see more come on the market as time goes by. Let's just hope it's soon!!! I want those black and clear headlights REALLY bad!

Sorry Bigg, didn't get pictures of the install, but don't really think I need to. The instructions that came with the aircharger where clear with both pictures and text. It took about an hour to install. And it fit just perfectly.

I'm in Heaven!!!! My car sounds absolutely awesome!!! And I definately have more power!!!
