How is it a cat-back AND have a u-bend delete?

It looks like it's everything from exactly after the cat, including the u-bend.
IIRC, Aaron had told me that the u-bend delete he used eliminated the flange between the cat-back and downpipe, which would mean that a piece of pipe was basically welded in where the u-bend and flange was.
If you have access to a welder, then you could very easily cut the u-bend off and weld a new flange between the u-bend delete and the resonator so that you could bolt/unbolt and drop the catback if you wanted to (some people do this at the track).
if you really wanted to upgrade to a dual muffler catback, and you didn't have access to a pickup truck, you could cut the system apart somewhere.
Even as is, I can't imagine that it would cost more than $50 to have an exhaust shop weld this up.
This is a hell of a deal btw.
I would suggest anyone take him up on it. Usually it costs close to $500 to switch an LS to dual exhaust.
Aaron - If no one takes you up on this before you need to trash the cat-back, I would suggest posting it up on some of the more active w-body boards. It's pretty often that people are ditching aftermarket cat-backs and going back to stock mufflers, and you could probably get a few bucks out of the whole deal. The Intimidator tips are pretty sweet too (imho).
