RE: Flowmaster universal inline resonator...

I just put a Random Technology DP and high flow cat and SLP cat back system on my Monte. I just drove it for the first time this morning. Great increase in power, but a little louder than I like. It's not that loud, I just don't think a Monte should sound like a muscle car, it's more of a cruiser than a drag car. The system was $924.00 including shipping and a local shop welded it in for $100.00.

Hi Randall, It would be great if you could post a sound clip of
your awesome exhaust......, plus it would be great to see
more pic's of your Red Monte. It's a sweet ride...!

Damn, I should have known better to talk about my SES light, it came back on this morning on my way to work.
Ok, so maybe the ZZP DP is not a good mod.....
Could just be the o2 sensor but I doubt it.....
Mr. Montejass, please report to the forum members if you found the problem ?
Is the ZZP DP a good mod or not ? Sound Clip ? Thanks

RE: Flowmaster universal inline resonator...

Thanks - I'll have to get someone to do the sound clip; I'm not at all technically savvy. I've been working out of town quite a bit and haven't done anything else to the car lately. I am putting new tires on week after next and am having them put the larger SLP anti-roll bars on while it's in the shop. I'll let you know how they work with the Eibach springs and KYB struts that are on it now. BTW- I have about 22,000 miles on the Hawk brake pads and crossdrilled rotors and they are showing signs of alot of wear. I'll need to replace the pads and turn the rotors pretty soon. I don't know if thats normal mileage for the amount of wear and I have been known to get on the brakes pretty hard at times.
