the exhaust sounds good man, I think I'm gonna hit the same setup and see how it goes. I wanted to ask about that grille, does it snap on or did you have to cut in to the existing plastic, etc. I think it looks tight and was wondering how it is installed, might pick one up for my maroon 03 SS.

I think it attaches with 3M 1000 MPH tape....

Yes, you remove the knight crest emblem, and the grille goes on over with 3M tape. I'd advise you to either paint or somehow cover up the area that will be seen through the grille mesh, especially the "post" where the emblem resides. If you don't, you'll be able to see it through the mesh. I simply covered mine in black electrical tape before installing the grille.

I actually am not sure. I just picked out a pair of tips at the shop and the slapped 'em on. I'll go measure later when I have a chance.

I gutted my airbox and then took some more video clips. I think its a bit louder, especially underhood.

Yes, important question. Personally, I don't like the shorter tips I have seen, nor the oval shaped ones. I like round tips, decent length. Believe it or not, I got mine at WALMART!!! About a $16.00 for the set: 2 1/2" outlet; slant cut; rolled edge.

I like everything you did with the exhaust, Blue. I think I will pretty much follow suit to what you did when I do my upgrade.

What to you guys think about visible mufflers? Like chrome or stainless with tips, rather than black? You think the tips should stand out, or is it ok to look all the same?
