Exhaust Question
Currently have 2 Magnaflow mufflers installed on my car with the rest of the exhaust stock and its real quiet. What can I do to make it louder? Been reading and everyone seems to agree that getting rid of the stock resonator will result in sounding bad but would a glasspack inplace of the resonator be the same?
Thanks

It depends on what you wanna hear coming from your car. If you get rid of the res, it wont make it sound "bad". Its just that it gives it a bit more of a raspy sound and some people dont like that. It really dosent do that much any way, its more of what it makes it sound like inside the car. The whole point of the res is to keep the in cab drone quieter.
The downpipe is what really makes it louder and for sure the three inch is gonna do so. I think anybody who is wanting to do an exhaust job, is gonna be happy with it as long as it dont have a ricer sound.

This is EXACTLY what I did...I replaced the stock resonator with a 14" Magnaflow. Made it a little louder, but mainly made it just have an overall better tone.
