Exhaust decision
Ok so i cant decide. Since my muffler got pushed in, and because of the rear bumper i was thinking of getting new mufflers/cat back system.
Here is my rear bumper now.
See how the left one is pushed in? No harm done tho.
Option #1
But because of the rear bumper i was thinking of these mufflers.
On the car
Option #2Here is the cat back system i was thinking of

I'm digging option #02. I think that the oval tips would fill in the gaps better in your rear diffuser. Just me though... I would turn them upside down.

Im not sure that system will fit without modification. The 6th gen montes and the 97-03 GPs have a straight piece of pipe after the flange. 5th gens have a turn down after the flange. At least the 95-97 montes do. I thought it was the same for the 98-99 but I could be wrong.

I'm diggin option 1 but don't think it would look the same without the spoiler from the 1st picture (i think it's called the brickyard spoiler) Both would definately set it off though

I really dig option #1... Have always loved the dual exaust with individual dual tips... I notice they turn up at the end, wonder how good straight tips might look?...

I had a dynomax cat-back... big waste of money in my opinion. If you have an exhaust shop install it, they'll want another $100. The piping would have rubbed my trunk had I installed it.. the guy had to bend my pipes to make it work even though they were pre cut. I say just have a custom system done by a shop... the cat backs are bout $250 overpriced in my opinion. And the mandrel bending... I just think its a loto f money for a potential 3 hp and .2 mpgs.
