Default Exhaust cutout on my 3.5

I just installed a new electric exhaust cutout the other day and im pretty excited. It seems to be working nicely except it does have a major leak which does not sound terrible, its not whistling or anything like that just very loud.

When its open it sounds pretty mean. I will post a video later on after work. I have it installed where the resonator would be(i have the SLP exhaust system that has no resonator).

If it is the valve thats leaking very badly, does anybody have any ideas on what i can do to seal it up a bit? Are these valve interchangeable with other brand valves? its a badlanz cutout by the way.

you can use silicon just make sure it doesn't stick to the flange keeping it shut.

Thats perfectly fine with me, considering i leave it open most of the time. After watching my friend drive it around i realized it isnt as loud as i thought... i think, i guess i just like it really loud.

I will check for leaks in the piping this weekend followed by a video, bare with me guys!!! I will try to post the one i took this morning while i was extremely tired and hungry, as you can tell by the breakfast banana chillin in the front seat.

Its a badlanz cutout and it cost $165, i went the affordable route. When im driving it, it sounds very deep and very throaty its kind of amazing...

They have a big selection of cutouts and parts. If you look, my y pipe is black but they do have a stainless steel pipe if you chose a custom selection. They also have a wireless one i think, but i feel like there's too much room for failure in a wireless cutout.

Im gonna make another video with some revs and maybe someone can record me driving by at WOT so keep posted!!!
