Nice Zach, your Monte sounded great when you opened the cut-out on her. Gives your car the mean attitude that matches her look, and I'm sure the whole picture is complete when people see your Monte boiling her tires off and hearing her roar. Truly a one off Monte you have made for yourself.

On the dyno my turbocharged Monte made 30whp with the cut-out 100% open.

Tommy, I would not let your mechanic put you a cut-out after the cat as that would still be a restriction in the exhaust flow. Do it similar to Zach's or my set up, dump everything immediately right off of the down pipe.

Thanks for the kudo's, put a lot of crazy time and money into this car for sure, it's been a long road to get her where she is at now.

I gained about 5whp with mine open on a N/A engine. I live in Iowa and the only reason mine is clean is because it doesn't go out past November and stays in until April. Thanks too :)

Lucky you I hate New York and I have money in the bank for a cheap daily driver or to out down on something cheap like a corolla but I want to keep upgrading my monte. I wish I had a garage!!!!

Thanks Greg. It has come together lately. Hopefully my little project turns out well that should help it in more ways than one.

I do consider myself very lucky. I have owned the car for over 4 years now and haven't had to drive it through any snow or bad weather for that matter. I found a $500 beater Lumina that has been great
