I got my borla cat-back on thursday and put it on saturday and i must say i am extremly happy with the sound and must of all performance.I then drove to the bears game on sunday and i could tell that there was alot more power and mympg went up by 2-3 at 80 mph.

All you need is a digital camera capable of taking video. Shoot a clip of the exhaust in action, then upload to an archive site like putfile.com. Enter a post with a link to the address of the media file. You're done.

I am happy with the performance but if i were to get the random technology 3" inch down pipe and high flow cat and u-bend delete will that give me better sound that is actualy noticable. and wouldit fit to theborla system or should i get the 2.5 downpipe?

 

it will give u better sound because it has a less resticting flow....im not sure of it will mate up....yo man...make sure u put ur car back on a lift and tighten all the bolts about once every two weeks for 2 months....irecomend it cuz as the exhaust heats up the metal expands and the bolts loosens .....tighten emm up b4 ur exhaust falls off....

 

i am in the search for the best dual exhaust system to put on my 04 ls. i have heard that flowmaster 40 series does not sound good on the 04 mc and the guys at the muffler shop suggested that i use twin turbo mufflers to get a better sound. are there any suggestions that anyone can help me with so that i can get the best for my money and sound.

 

as for the down pipe if your are NA (not supercharged or turbo) then 2.5 is fine. if you have boost then 3"..... and no mater what get rid of that Ubend! even if you want to stay close to stock or lightly moded.

 

So 2.5 would be fine and should just bolt right on? I am most likely going to order it after x-mass because i will have some more cash?
