question, " did you go all the way to the throttle body to connect the intake and what not?" i tried the same on my LS and could not figure out for the life of my how to get it on, do you take off the rubber part or whatever and the part that has the PCM connect to it??

Yes I removed oem rubber part to the throttle body , you can see pcm in pic. ,I bought air intake on ebay new for $ 27 shipped , bought a 6 in tube autozone $ 20 ?

I was wondering where did you get that filter box from?or did you make it?if so, what material and where did you get it from?I bought one of those ebay intakes but havent got a cover for it.Straight hot air right now.
