Default Cold Air Intake for my 2006 SS

Hi guys. I am looking to put in a CAI in the next couple of weeks. Can you guys give me your thoughts on what would be best for this car out of the 3 listed below. I was leaning towards the system by Cold Air Inductions. Any information would be very helpful. Thank You very much.

-K & N system
-Wizaired CAI system ZZ Performance
-Cold Air Inductions Intakes Cold Air Inductions - Cold Air Inductions Inc - Air Intakes

make your own. theyre all super overpriced. i have the k&n and personally for the price i could have made it better myself, and bought an ls1 intake manifold for the car.

I bought the CAI, but that was because it is engineered to mate with my hood.

I do think the CAI looks the best if that matters to you, but they all have their advantages/disadvantages.

edit - the wizaired will not fit your 06 SS

Cully77, thanks for that info. I think I am leaning towards the CAI. Do you order replacement filters through that website too?

- Not making my own guys, too lazy and I dont care about saving the money really. Its nice you guys know how to do that.

You won't need a replacement filter for a LONG time. And you can buy a cleaning kit. Or get a universal replacement from an auto parts store.
