I got a lil handhelp obdII code reader that kills codes for ya for 35$. Its a sweet lil diagnostic tool, I reccomend that over getting a simulator, since they are illegal.

I sure would hate to have the O2 sensor police kick down my door in the middle of the night, I better get the code killer... [sm=alcoholic.gif]

well u dont have to be a douche about it. In my state id fail inspection if I had a simulator, and theyd make me buy a oem cat and show a recipt before theyd pass me again.

if you have the simulator you fail emmissions??? most places wouldn't even think to look...they'd just see it passes and say off you go

Use some common sense... Ask your inspection facility if it's against the law to "kill the O2 code" to pass inspection. In either case your working around the problem. It's not like they are going to check out every square inch of your car for hidden problems, if there is no code they look no further..

yah, emmissions are stupid, instead of doing a manditory emmissions test every 2 years they're should be manditory safeties instead of emmissions....

personnally i dont think they should do any tests except for when you buy your vehicle...but oh well...cant' get everything!! lol
