Removing the cat's internals just creates a larger, open cavity which is still going to disturb the exhaust flow.

Youll get a louder deeper tone, atleast thats what i got on the GTO when i went catless, LS1 and LS4 are pretty close motors, cant wait to see how it sounds when u get it done

Nice. Its already really deep so I will be curious to see. Hopefully it get louder that's what I am going for

The MagnaFlow system has a very nice tone so increasing that tone would be nice.

Curious, did the resonator delete make any noticeable difference? I have the same MagnaFlow system as you but I'm not sure I want to go that route. I'd think there has to be some difference between a cat delete with the resonator and one without the resonator.

I agree I love it.

Not a huge difference. Gave it more tone at throttle but not much at idle. Depending on how it sounds cat delete I could always throw the res back on too

seems like a good idea in theory but i could see potential problems with that but i could be wrong

agreed or atleast it seems that way.

well good news. Hogan made my pipe today and I just waiting for him to calculate shipping so hopefully the questions will be answered in the next few days I know i will have to put it on the day i get it haha
