Its an amazing difference. The tone is a lot deeper when getting on the pedal. I never thought it would be that much of a difference, but it was. It is definitely worth the money! I got the Cold Air Inductions one, it has the sealed off box, and looks the greatest too. I definitely give it 5 stars.

Yeah, I agree with the last post. It has been weeks now and I can still notice a HUGE difference, even though I have a V63400. But yeah, the mix of tires chirping (in first gear) when I floor it from 20 or so, the whistle my intake makes, and the amplificaiton of the engine from the CAI, it makes for a real fun ride.

My CAI from coldairinductions.com made a big difference in the sound. Its much deeper, and louder. Sounds great IMO.

You have the 3500 right?? I see in your sig its the 3.5, im not sure if they call your engine out like that. But anyway, would it be a close comparison with out engines? I know they have the same block but im not sure whats different with them, I mean, would they basiclly have the same sound/tone to them??

Yea, its called the 3500. And yes, they sound pretty close to the 3400's as far as exhaust note go.

They are based off the 3400 block, but have different bore and stroke. Plus the entire top end/ intake is different, and they have VVT.

VVT= Variable Valve Timing

Stock the 3500 is at 211 HP, if I had to guess, I would say i'm getting about 216 HP at the crank.

I kind of agree. I installed mine with an Airaid TBS and I can hear that. The engine is a lil louder, but mostly when getting on it. I like everything about it, even the whistle from the TBS.
