Looking to put duals on my 81. Guy at muffler shop told me I needed a tranny crossmember made for duals. From what I can see under the car he may be correct. Has anyone ever run into this befor and if so what did you do?

a couple option,

you could notch your currant cross member ( depending on money situation it is what i would do) bu cutting out a piec of it then take a peice C chanel and wel it in there,

Have some one make you one

or buy one that is already made

i will probably be building mine since i'm doing a t56 but will be doing one just like the g-force cross memebers
