Hello: All
I have a 85 monte SS that I'm swapping a SBC to a BBC what headers will fit
nicely ? I'm not running and inner fender walls ether.

You i have seen it and the headers where an extreemly tight fit sorry i don't have any more info i havn't looked into BBC conversion

 

If your looking for best fitment a shop may be your best bet have some custom made

 

or a shop might have some knowledge if there are some BBC headers out there that fit.

 

i bet they bolt make ons...especially for a monte ss.. having a floor shifter makes it alot easier to fit headers on any thing

 

quite a few companies make headers for bbc in a gbody car. just make sure you know whether your running rectangular port or oval port heads. and your probably going to have to dump the ac and relocate the blower motor. heres a link for that as well. good luck.

i have the hooker one fit is great. the only thing u have to do is trim the drivers sild clam sheel on the motoer mount and it r are runing alum head the flang. i fould that out after it was half in. i have a build thread you should check it out. i hope ur going to change the rear.
